- Lock the dorm room door when out, visiting or in the restroom
- Hide a purse, wallet, cell phone or jewelry in your dorm room
- Secure lap top computers with cable locks or in a safe
- Consider a necklace holder for keys, ID, security and meal cards
- Watch your stuff while in the shower, doing laundry or in the library
